Rites of Passage
Rites of passage are events that take place during a life that are marked, celebrated and respected in a ritualistic way, humans thrive through community ritual, birthday parties, Easter bonnet parades, May pole dances, school sports days, football matches, Halloween dressing up and Christmas carol singing to name a few. Throughout our lives we transition through pivotal moments.
We have taught a great deal on the experiences of women. This is an area of current dialogue about definitions of gender. We are working with the cyclical, lunar cycle that brings the blood of menstruation at menarche, creates fertile ground should fertility be desired or utilised. We are guided by the Order of the Apple, a sense of Tribe and protection of sacred feminine and what this means for us.
We know that our birthright is surely good health; hale hearts, strong bones, strength and vitality. What we need are some tried and true, safe and simple ways to nourish ourselves, ease our daily discomforts as well as help guard against, and therefore prevent, serious, life threatening disease.
What is the order of the apple?
